The holidays can be a stressful time for couples struggling to conceive. That’s why I offer a bit of humor to help ease the holiday heartache.
One of my patients was about to experience her first injection of stimulation medication from her husband. The husband was having difficulty administering the injection to my patient due to a needle phobia. After the husband mustered up the strength to uncap the needle he began to shake. Knowing the considerable amount of money she had spent on the injectables, my patient told her husband, “if you pass out during the injection I’m going to catch the medication instead of you!”
I almost passed out with laughter after hearing this comment! Happy holidays and don’t drop your meds!
