Every week, we bring you great fertility topics from our fertility experts across the country. Our physicians have written about everything from how many embryos to transfer and the risks of a twin pregnancy to PCOS to tax credits for IVF.
For this week’s Terminology Tuesday, I thought we’d take a different approach.
What would you like our physicians to write about? What fertility topics are you most curious about? Share your topic ideas and fertility questions in the comments or on Facebook and we’ll pass them on to our fertility specialists for future blog posts!

I would like to know more about twin pregnancies and pprom. I just lost fraternal twins at 19 weeks. I ruptured twin b 2.5 weeks before rupturing twin a and going into labor. This was my 1st pregnancy and 7th IVF with 2nd egg donor. I am almost 41. I have stage 4 endo with possible adenomyosis. We are awaiting an autopsy report but my little boy and girl angels were healthy as far as we know. They weighed almost 1 pound each and were 10 inches each in length.
I am working on healing mentally and physically but are anxious to try again.
Angela, that is heartbreaking. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Angela if I could reach you, I would give you a hug. Your story brought tears to my eyes. I am so sorry for your losses!
I would like to know if I even have a chance at becoming pregnant with a 1mm(opening) cervix. I am also a DES daughter and have a T-shaped uterus. BTW…what do they mean by a uterus that is shaggy diffusely?
