Every week I read dozens of blogs and, half the time I find myself wishing I could share them with all of you. So… I figured I should! Every other week I’ll be rounding up the infertility blog posts that I found memorable.
Please join in and add any great posts from this week that you saw (or wrote) into the comments!
- Single Infertile Female has a post that’s painful to read, where she questions her grip on reality and what endometriosis and infertility has done to her life. It’s hard to read, but so honest. Could it be?
- Melissa from Stirrup Queens and Keiko from Hannah Wept, Sarah Laughed both have posts about the Theresa Erickson baby selling ring. Theresa Erickson is a surrogate lawyer and well known to many of us in the fertility world. And yes, the story will make you sick to your stomach. My Thoughts on the Theresa Erickson Baby-Selling Scandal; Betraying the Community: My Response to the Theresa Erickson Scandal
- The Maybe Baby has another surrogacy post, this one about choosing the right gestational carrier. Shaking off the Crazy
- Just Two Lines Away has a post that really hit home for me about why she doesn’t want to start her next IVF cycle. It’s not getting easier
- Cecily from Uppercase Woman has a post up about the annual BlogHer conference that happened in San Diego last week. Cecily was one of the Voices of the Year at the BlogHer conference and read an emotional and heartfelt post about drug addiction to all of us. It’s not a post about infertility, but Cecily’s story so moved me that I had to share it.
- Finally, Adventures in Infertility-Land has another post that really hit home for me about the emotional roller coaster that infertility treatments are. PUPO

Two sperm were swimming through a woman’s body.
The first said, “Whew. I’m getting tired. Just how far is it to the uterus?”
“The uterus?” the second laughed. “We’re not even past the esophagus yet!”
Thank you so much for including my post in your round up. I’m interested to see what other bloggers have to say on the subject.
thank you so much for your support- glad my blog spoke to you.
CGD – Thank you so much for writing it. I know the entire topic of infertility is so hard to open up about and I hope you know how much it helps every person who reads about your fears and your struggles. Including me.
Keiko – i just can’t stop reading about this. The damage done to the community and those families…. Wow.
