IVF, Age and Attain Fertility

Hello my friends, it’s Sharon speaking to you on this 1^st day of September here from the Northeast. Last week was a doozy for many; earthquake, hurricane, flooding, no power.. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to those of you who have been affected and hope things settle down, as soon as possible.

This week, I wanted to touch base with you about IVF, the Attain® IVF Refund Program and age. Here at the Attain® IVF Call Center, we speak with many wonderful people every day who share their personal struggles with infertility. We listen, provide support, assist in scheduling appointments, offer information on the benefits of our Programs, and coordinate the application and enrollment process.

One of the most common questions we get asked is, “Why is there an age cut off for your Refund Program?” Simply stated, statistics show that fertility rates drop significantly after the age of 37. So in most cases, we look for patients to complete the Refund Program by their 38^th birthday if using their own eggs.

The good news is that if you don’t qualify for the Attain IVF Refund Program, you may be able to participate in the Attain IVF Multi-Cycle Plan. This is a 4-cycle IVF treatment program with no eligibility criteria, including age. We offer this at our affiliated clinics and your doctor just needs to recommend IVF treatment using your own eggs. Although this program does not include a refund option, it does provide a lower cost option while still increasing your chance of success.
