What a Great Program! The Attain® IVF Multi-Cycle Plan

It’s Thursday with Sharon at Attain® IVF Customer Care.

September has arrived, the holiday weekend is here and I hope you’re able to catch some much needed R and R.

I’m going to cut to the chase and share with you a great program we are excited to offer here at Attain® IVF; it’s called the Multi-Cycle Plan (available to patients whose doctor recommends IVF using your own eggs). The Program includes four cycles of IVF (2 fresh and 2 frozen), you pay a one time, discounted fee that’s about 30% less than paying on a cycle-by-cycle basis and there is no age criteria for enrollment.

So what does all this mean? It means a greater chance for success due to the multi-cycle approach and the one time fee is paid prior to the start of your treatment leaving you time to focus on having a baby.

We love talking about this Program and more importantly we love talking to you. Give us a call when you’re ready and we’ll get you started.

In observance of the Labor Day Holiday, the Attain IVF Call Center will be closed on Monday, September 6th. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 7th at 9 am ET.

Have a safe Holiday. Until next time, all my best.

IVF and the Attain Programs

Good day to all! It’s Thursday’s with Sharon and I’m happy to be a part of your day.

Simply said, the Customer Care team at the Attain® IVF Call Center is devoted to providing information about our Programs because we are as committed to building your family as you are.

The Attain Programs include IVF, IVF/Donor Egg and the Multi-Cycle plan. The common thread with all our Programs is multiple cycles. Let the statistics speak for themselves. http://attainfertility.com/article/ivf-statistics When you commit to multiple cycles, you increase your chances for success.

What about the cost?

This is probably the single most asked question we get, and rightfully so. Unfortunately, many who pay for IVF on a cycle-to-cycle basis drop out of treatment too early because of uncertainty over how long to try, how much to spend and the stress of it all. With the Attain Programs, you pay a one time fee upfront for multiple cycles; leaving your focus on the treatment and having a baby.

We’d love to speak with you, so give us a call @ 1-866-968-7483. Rose, Tammy and I are available to provide the details of the Attain Programs and financing options; but, most importantly, an ear to listen to you, wherever you may be in your journey. We are in this together so let’s get started and schedule that first appointment for you. If you’re already at an affiliated Practice, we’ll start the application process to get you enrolled in the Attain Program.

We look forward to your call!

Until next time, all my best.

Facebook Roundup: Laughter, Disappointments and Success

It’s the beginning of August and time to look back at July and see how far we’ve come.  There have been many changes to the Attain Fertility community, including my introduction as the Attain Fertility Community Manager.  My first month with all of you has been wonderful.  Every day I’m inspired by your stories.

This month, Dr. Lowell Ku shared some great information about the IVF process and ovarian reserve testing. as well as the anatomic evaluations we can expect for infertility.

Jacqui Dunn asked us just how open we should be about our infertility.

Sharon, from the Attain Fertility Call Center, gave us some great advice on what to expect at a first appointment with your fertility center and some practical advice on seeking a second opinion.

On Facebook, we talked about our frustrations and joys and shared a lot of the really thoughtless things sometimes people say to us and how we deal with it.  We discussed PCOS, miscarriage and secondary infertility.  We talked about our hopes for the future, our disappointments of the past and the laughter we share to cope through all of it.  In a very exciting development, one of our community members shared the news of her positive pregnancy test!

I’m looking forward to all that August has to bring.

Friends, Family and Your Infertility

It’s Thursday with Sharon at Attain® IVF Customer Care.

Good Afternoon, everyone! August has arrived and if you have plans that include some R and R, enjoy!

Well, the phones are busy here at the Attain® IVF Call Center and today I want to reach out and give a hug to those of you who have called us, will call us, read this blog and everyone else in between. (((((Hug)))))

Maybe you’ve heard the following questions from others; do you have a family, how many kids do you have, you’re how old? Ouch! The struggles of infertility seem to bring out both the best and worst with family and friends and makes one realize just how much information you are willing to share and what types of situations you are willing to put yourself in (or not).

Before you tell others about your struggles to have a baby, I’ve noted some suggestions offered by callers in similar situations:

  • Decide (with your partner) which details are to be shared with others and which details are just “off limits”.
  • Decide which people you feel comfortable sharing information with and those you don’t.
  • Deciding whether and whom to tell in your workplace can be tricky. Trying to work around appointments can lead to more stress, so consider telling one key person at work. If you feel comfortable speaking with your HR Department, then by all means fill them in.
  • Think about social events (certain holidays, baby showers) that may be difficult to handle and whether you will attend.
  • You will undoubtedly get unsolicited advice; even if given with good intentions. Think of a response that works best for you; you may consider saying “that is not helpful for me to hear right now.”
  • If you are waiting for results from a treatment cycle, consider only speaking with those that are emotionally open and available for you.

The bottom line is to remember to take control, take care of yourself and preserve your emotional energy. This too shall pass, as they say.

Until next time, all my best.

The New Face of Attain Fertility

Last fall we launched our Fertility Focus blog featuring our resident fertility expert, Maureen Gill, RN, with the goal to offer timely and relevant information to those trying to get pregnant and have a baby.

Fertility Focus complemented our online community on Facebook, where we’ve had hundreds (maybe even thousands!) of conversations about what’s important to you, your questions and the emotional journey that’s part of trying to conceive.=

We’ve learned much from you as you shared your own stories. Over the last several months we added to our blogging team and expanded our blog topics to include emotional support and words of wisdom from our Attain® IVF Customer Care team as well as personal stories from others who are along their own path to becoming a parent. We also invited guest bloggers with specific areas of expertise to share their knowledge with us.

It’s been an incredible journey with you and I’m excited to share even more exciting additions and changes! First of all (and most obvious, I’m sure) is that our blog has a new look which matches our new informational website. We also changed the blog name from Fertility Focus to Attain Fertility so it’s as easy as possible for you to find us.

One final announcement we have to share with you is that we have a new member to our team, Stephanie Himel-Nelson, who is an independent consultant that will be our Community Manager on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and our blog.

Stephanie has been active in the online community for a number of years and you may best know her as Lawyer Mama. Stephanie has a special interest in fertility because she, too, is trying to conceive and is encountering many of the challenges that our community is facing.

We’re very fortunate to have Stephanie join us as she shares her personal journey, tells you about happenings at our network of fertility clinics, and provides you access to helpful fertility information – all with her trademark wisdom and humor.

Please join me in giving Stephanie a big “hello and welcome to our world!”
