What a Great Program! The Attain® IVF Multi-Cycle Plan

It’s Thursday with Sharon at Attain® IVF Customer Care.

September has arrived, the holiday weekend is here and I hope you’re able to catch some much needed R and R.

I’m going to cut to the chase and share with you a great program we are excited to offer here at Attain® IVF; it’s called the Multi-Cycle Plan (available to patients whose doctor recommends IVF using your own eggs). The Program includes four cycles of IVF (2 fresh and 2 frozen), you pay a one time, discounted fee that’s about 30% less than paying on a cycle-by-cycle basis and there is no age criteria for enrollment.

So what does all this mean? It means a greater chance for success due to the multi-cycle approach and the one time fee is paid prior to the start of your treatment leaving you time to focus on having a baby.

We love talking about this Program and more importantly we love talking to you. Give us a call when you’re ready and we’ll get you started.

In observance of the Labor Day Holiday, the Attain IVF Call Center will be closed on Monday, September 6th. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 7th at 9 am ET.

Have a safe Holiday. Until next time, all my best.

IVF and the Attain Programs

Good day to all! It’s Thursday’s with Sharon and I’m happy to be a part of your day.

Simply said, the Customer Care team at the Attain® IVF Call Center is devoted to providing information about our Programs because we are as committed to building your family as you are.

The Attain Programs include IVF, IVF/Donor Egg and the Multi-Cycle plan. The common thread with all our Programs is multiple cycles. Let the statistics speak for themselves. http://attainfertility.com/article/ivf-statistics When you commit to multiple cycles, you increase your chances for success.

What about the cost?

This is probably the single most asked question we get, and rightfully so. Unfortunately, many who pay for IVF on a cycle-to-cycle basis drop out of treatment too early because of uncertainty over how long to try, how much to spend and the stress of it all. With the Attain Programs, you pay a one time fee upfront for multiple cycles; leaving your focus on the treatment and having a baby.

We’d love to speak with you, so give us a call @ 1-866-968-7483. Rose, Tammy and I are available to provide the details of the Attain Programs and financing options; but, most importantly, an ear to listen to you, wherever you may be in your journey. We are in this together so let’s get started and schedule that first appointment for you. If you’re already at an affiliated Practice, we’ll start the application process to get you enrolled in the Attain Program.

We look forward to your call!

Until next time, all my best.

IVF and Insurance Coverage

Hello, my friends! It’s Thursday’s with Sharon and my day to share with you one of the many interesting topics brought up by our callers here at the Attain® IVF Call Center. Today it’s IVF and Insurance.

It would make things so much easier if all states had mandated coverage, however, that’s not the case. I thought it would be helpful to attach this link so that you can read the specific guidelines for the 15 states that have laws requiring insurance coverage for infertility treatment. Here’s an article on AttainFertility.com that gives you an overview with links to each state for more information.

Just in case, it’s important to call and check with your own personal medical insurance provider to determine whether or not you are covered for any part of IVF treatment.

People often ask, “How do I participate in the Attain® IVF Program if my insurance covers IVF?” This is a great question.  Our Program is valuable to those with limited or no insurance. An example of limited insurance would mean; the “in-cycle monitoring” portion of the IVF cycle is covered, however, the retrieval and transfer is not or the coverage allows for a certain monetary cap, such as $5,000.  Give us a call at 1-866-968-7483 and we would be more than happy to speak with you on how to maximize your coverage, offer financing options and increase your chances for success.

I hope this information has been useful. We at Attain IVF do our best to help ease as much of the stress, associated with your treatment, as possible and “We are as committed to building your family as you are.”

Until next time, my best to you.

Fertility Grants Offer Hope and Financial Assistance

It’s that week many of us dread each year: Income Tax deadlines. Money is on the mind and if you’re like me, then you wrote a check to Uncle Sam. I filed mine today and was feeling the blues about my diminished checking account balance when I saw this heart-warming article.

The story features a couple, Lori and Rob Moscato, who felt so blessed when they were finally able to have a baby through fertility treatment, they decided to form the Pay It Forward Fertility Foundation. Pay It Forward provides grants to infertile couples in North Carolina who are unable to pay for fertility treatment. Last year they awarded four grants.

I was so taken with Pay It Forward that I did a little investigative research and found a handful of other nonprofits which provide financial assistance for infertility treatment. Each of them have criteria that applicants need to meet for consideration.

Check them out:

  • B.U.M.P.S. – Applications are now being accepted and will be reviewed May 1 – July 31, 2010
  • The Cade Foundation – The 2010 Family Building Grant application is now available online and portions are due to the foundation by June 15, 2010.
  • Fertile Dreams – The 2010 Embracing Hope Grant is expected to be available in July.
  • Pay It Forward Fertility Foundation – 2010 grant applications are now being accepted. Deadline is October 1, 2010.

Each of these nonprofits hold events and fundraisers throughout the year, as well. Details can be found on their websites.

What better gift can you imagine than to give the gift of hope for those facing the financial challenges associated with fertility treatment? It certainly was a bright spot in my day.

If you know of other organizations like these, please share them with us!

Stressed about fertility and money talks – last month on Facebook

With almost 10,000 Fans our Facebook Page (Attain Fertility) is always busy, and March was no exception. Our post asking Fans to rate the stress of infertility on a scale of 1 – 10 drew major response, with most Fans ranking it at 10 or higher!

To all of you who shared your stress-o-meter: thank you! Over the following weeks, we will continue this important topic with more in-depth discussions and information on how to manage fertility-related stress.

Money featured strongly also. A book post on planning infertility financing was popular, as was a discussion about deducting healthcare expenses on tax returns. We’ll continue to share helpful information on the financial aspects for fertility treatment as we find it. When we’re in the know, we’ll make sure you are, too!
